At our new 30,000 sqm new green factory launch earlier this year, we shared with our guests our company’s brand mission: PVA = Planet Value Added.

For most people, PVA is simply a material name—a technical abbreviation for a class of water-soluble polymers. But at Sengong New Materials, we see it differently. To us, PVA stands for Planet Value Added.
As sustainability becomes a global priority, many “green solutions” have entered the market. Yet many fall short of real impact. They are often expensive, limited in supply, and sometimes dependent on food-based raw materials such as corn. As a result, sustainability remains confined to a small group of companies or premium brands.
And for it to scale, it must meet three fundamental criteria: it must be accessible, affordable, and practical.

This is the foundation of Planet Value Added. We don’t just focus on whether a material is sustainable—we focus on whether it creates real value in real-world industrial environments: improving efficiency, reducing costs, and lowering environmental impact at the same time.
At Sengong, we take a practical approach. Sustainable materials should not compete with food resources, nor should they be limited to niche applications. They must become viable solutions for industries at scale.

This is not just a belief—it is our view of the future of materials. That is why what we do goes beyond manufacturing water-soluble films. We are redefining what materials represent—from passive products to active enablers of change.

Through continuous material innovation, we are helping industries reduce plastic dependency, develop new sustainable packaging formats, and build more efficient, low-carbon systems. These changes are not theoretical—they are already happening.
The best materials of the future will not only serve industry—they will also serve the planet. With the launch of our new factory in Linyi, we are not just opening a production site—we are building a platform for the next generation of sustainable materials.
